Fan Art based on the Halo Franchise. Project to create UNSC Army Trooper models to recreate the now out of production game Halo: Ground Command. The models were created from scratch, and were modeled to a high standard that aimed to be a close match to the official miniatures in terms to detail and proportions. Much like how the video games handle characters with numerous accessories and armor options, a core character was modeled, detailed, and rigged for posing, and then small details were added on such as ammo pouches, alternate headgear, etc.
A total of 23 distinct models were prepared for printing, so as to minimize the amount of duplicate poses on the tabletop. I attempted to model Army Infantry several years ago for this project, but I've since learned much about 3D modeling and miniature design, so I wanted to go back and do it properly.
