M12 Warthog - 15mm Scale

Fan Art based on the Halo Franchise. Project to make a Warthog model to print at 15mm scale, to recreate the now out of production game Halo: Ground Command. This was a project in early 2018, and presented quite the challenge - the design was mostly based on the sculpt used by Spartan Games for H:GC, but I also used video game asset renders to have a clear picture of the details in certain parts. Final model is printed in ten separate pieces.

The finished, assembled design. There are some areas that could see improvement, but I'm still happy with how close I got it to the official model.

The model is split into ten separate pieces for print and assembly. The bed of the Warthog has a hole large enough for a small magnet, and the different Warthog turrets were also designed with a magnet for easy swapping of their weapon options.
