UNSC AV-14 Hornet - 15mm Scale

Fan Art based on the Halo Franchise. Project to model a UNSC Hornet for the out of production game Halo: Ground Command. The models were created from scratch, and were modeled to a high standard that aimed to be a close match to the official miniatures in terms to detail and proportions. The Hornet design was primarily based on its Halo 3 iteration, with some elements borrowed from the Halo 2 Anniversary look.

The model is split into multiple pieces, and was designed with 15mm (1:100th) scale in mind. The turbine engines on the wings have slots pre-cut for magnets, perfect for posing. I also posed eight new UNSC Army Troopers as passengers for the model. Finally, the underside has a hexagon slot that works with a Debris of War telescopic flight stand.
